Remember when Paris Hilton made her big entrance to TV and pop culture? It was through the show The Simple Life where she lived the hard life on a farm! And my dad’s farm was the one right near to where Paris and Nicole stayed for the duration of the show. Now, the show displayed how Paris and Nicole learned life lessons after having experienced hard work and lack of paid help, but the show didn’t televise what the farm girls learned from Paris and Nicole!

When those two first came to our Anytown, USA, they brought with them the most luxurious makeup I’ve ever tried – French beauty products! Applying the skin brighteners and eyelash growth products from their Gucci makeup bags was such a thrill. The farm girls and I sat there for hours learning about makeup trends and tips that never made it down to our neck of the woods. We had never heard of eyelash growth products – actually, we never knew eyelash growth was sexy! – And certainly never shaped thicker eyebrows for ourselves. I mean, c’mon, we’re working with fowl, cattle, and horses all day – you think we have time to shape our eyebrows or apply age spot treatments? Yes, the sun kills our complexion a bit – age spots pop up and varicose veins sprout from lifting a ton of stuff – but we just don’t have time for makeup.

However, my favorite was the dark circle removers. Waking up at 4 am every day takes a toll on my eyes especially since I’m in college part time. I tried them and I looked five years younger instantly! So Paris and Nicole taught us some lessons on life that we’d never forget – she experienced the simple life and we experienced the glamour life!
